I am happy to announce that our Hermitage Piano Trio is entering a new phase with the announcement that Ilya Kazantsev will now be the new permanent pianist of the Trio.  Both Sergey and I are very excited by this news and look forward to continue representing the great and historic Russian tradition worldwide.

Here is a recent performance of the 2nd Movement from Mendelssohn Piano Trio No. 1 in D Minor, Op. 49, with Ilya at the piano.  You may watch it here:

Maxim Mogilevsky and I just got done performing a true “Duo” recital in the Palm Springs, CA.   We were very touched by the reception we got from the audience.  I am glad they enjoyed the repertorie we presented and look forward to coming back in January 2014 together with Maxim and cellist Sergey Antonov as the Hermitage Piano Trio.
